Our mission is to form and support all those responsible for the work of evangelisation and catechesis in the parishes of the Diocese (clergy, catechists, evangelisers, parents, teachers) and indeed all Catholics as they carry out Christ’s command to make disciples of all nations. The School provides the formation and support through courses, specialised training, workshops and regular events.
For its mission, the Diocese of Menevia School of Evangelisation and Catechetics (DOMSEC) takes inspiration from the words of Pope Saint John Paul II: "I sense that the moment has come to commit all of the Church's energies to a new evangelization and to the mission ad gentes. No believer in Christ, no institution of the Church can avoid this supreme duty: to proclaim Christ to all peoples" (Pope Saint John Paul II, Redemptoris Missio, 3).
